The T15D is upgraded with a clear focus on improving corrosion resistance and long-term reliability, especially for users operating in coastal or high-humidity environments. As one of the refined 2 stroke portable outboards, it incorporates multiple structural and surface improvements to better withstand continuous exposure to marine conditions while maintaining its compact and lightweight advantage.
Key upgrades include an improved top cover sealing ring for better protection against water ingress, enhanced anti-corrosion treatment on the friction adjustment knob and mounting bracket, and a redesigned overflow pipe on the starter cover. In addition, the shift handle now features upgraded paint protection, while the wiring harness is protected with corrugated tubing for added durability. The lighting coil connector is also fitted with a sealing plug to further improve environmental resistance.
With these refinements, the T15D strengthens its position among 2 stroke portable outboards, offering users a more dependable structure for frequent use and transport. Every outboard motor is fully inspected and tested before leaving our factory. Each unit undergoes functional testing and performance checks to ensure stable operation, reliable starting, and proper assembly quality. We also provide testing videos upon request, allowing customers to review product condition before shipment.
We warmly welcome customers to visit our factory for on-site inspection and order verification. For production efficiency reasons, we do not perform full run-in (break-in) on every engine, as this process requires extended operating time. Instead, all engines are delivered after strict pre-delivery testing, ensuring they are ready for proper break-in during initial use.

FAQ
1.How long is the break-in period for your outboard motors?
The break-in period is 10 hours.
During this period:
First 1 hour: Operate at variable speeds up to 2000 rpm (about half throttle).
Second hour: Increase speed to bring the boat on plane (avoid full throttle), then reduce speed while keeping the boat planing.
Remaining 8 hours: Operate at any speed, but avoid full throttle for more than 5 minutes at a time.
After 10 hours: Normal operation is allowed.
2. How often should engine oil and gear oil be changed after the break-in?
First replacement at 20 hours (engine oil, oil filter, and gear oil).
After that, change every 100 hours or once per year, whichever comes first.
3. What corrosion protection measures are used on your outboard motors?
A: Our outboard motors use a multi-layer anti-corrosion coating system from PPG, combined with strict surface treatment and durability testing. Both the complete outboard assembly and the engine components are designed for reliable operation in marine environments.
