ABOUT OUTBOARDS
Calon Gloria Four Stroke 20HP Outboard Engine is designed with user comfort, environmental responsibility, strong performance, and long-term reliability in mind. Easy operation and thoughtful design are at the core of what we do.
Company Introduction
Guided by a commitment to excellence, we have launched a range of outboards: 2-stroke models (3hp, 5hp, 9.8hp, 15hp, 20hp, 30hp, and 40hp), 4-stroke models (6hp, 20hp, 60hp EFI), and an electric outboard (40hp). Our efforts in technological innovation have also yielded significant results. As of July 24, 2023, we have obtained 25 patents, covering areas such as outboard motor oil supply systems, yaw testing devices, and underwater gear nut fastening systems. In response to issues of virtual horsepower labeling in the market, we have consistently adhered to the principle of genuine horsepower, earning increasing praise from consumers.

Production Line
The Calon Gloria outboard motor production line is clean and orderly, with every stage meticulously designed to ensure consistent product quality. Workers focus on every detail, from the precise assembly of components to the rigorous inspection of finished products, strictly following standard operating procedures. The production environment is bright and organized, with tools and equipment neatly arranged to support efficient production and ensure high product quality. This attention to detail is a key reason Calon Gloria outboard motors have earned the trust of their customers.

Engine Test
Each outboard motor must undergo a strict testing process before leaving the factory. This includes approximately 1 hour of timing inspection, engine temperature testing, low and high-speed operation in gear, water output testing, oil emulsification check, and a final appearance inspection.

In addition to in-factory quality control, every prototype must also complete at least 150 hours of outdoor on-water testing. For example, our 60HP four-stroke prototype has already accumulated over 500 hours of real-world testing to ensure stability and reliability under various operating conditions.
Outboard Motor Maintenance Tips
1.Always use genuine or manufacturer-recommended engine oil to ensure proper lubrication and extend engine life.
2.Flush the engine with fresh water after each use, especially in saltwater, to prevent corrosion.
3.Regularly check the gear oil for contamination or water intrusion, and replace it if necessary.
4.Inspect fuel lines and filters regularly to prevent debris from entering the engine.
5.When not in use for a long time, drain the fuel and store the motor in a dry, ventilated place.
FAQ – four Stroke Outboard Engine Oil
Q: What oil should be used for a four-stroke outboard engine?
Use marine-grade oil designed for four-stroke outboard motors. It provides better protection against moisture, salt, and corrosion than regular car oil.
Q: Can automotive engine oil be used instead?
No. Automotive oils are not suitable for marine environments and do not offer sufficient rust and water resistance.
Q: Which viscosity is recommended?
Choose 10W-30 for cooler temperatures and easier starting.
Choose 25W-40 for hot climates or heavy-duty operation.
Q: Is it suitable for saltwater use?
Yes. Marine four-stroke oils are formulated for both freshwater and saltwater conditions.
Q: How often should the oil be changed?
Follow the maintenance interval specified in the engine owner's manual.
