About Outboards
Two-stroke outboard engines are known for their simplicity and lightweight design, making them popular for smaller boats. They operate on a two-cycle process, allowing for more power strokes per revolution, resulting in higher performance. While they offer excellent acceleration, concerns about fuel efficiency and emissions have led to increased interest in four-stroke alternatives. Despite this, two-stroke engines remain a reliable choice for many recreational boaters.Currently we supply 2 stroke 3hp/5hp/9.8hp/15hp/20hp/30hp and 40hp.

Quality Check

Mounting the outboard motor
The outboard motor should be installed in a way that ensures the boat remains well-balanced, as improper mounting can make steering difficult. For boats with a single engine, the motor should be positioned along the centerline (keel line) of the boat to maintain proper balance and handling.

Mounting height
To achieve optimal efficiency for your boat, minimizing water resistance (drag) from both the boat and the outboard motor is essential. The motor's mounting height plays a crucial role in this. If mounted too high, cavitation can occur, leading to reduced propulsion and potential overheating due to an abnormal increase in engine speed when the propeller tips break the water's surface. On the other hand, if the motor is mounted too low, water resistance will increase, which lowers engine performance. For the best results, the anti-cavitation plate should be positioned between the boat's bottom and approximately 25 mm (1 inch) below it.
