About Outboards
**Flush the Engine**: Use fresh water to flush salt, dirt, or debris from the cooling system. Attach a flush kit or muffs to the lower unit to run water through it.
**Fuel System Treatment**: Add fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank, then run the engine for a few minutes to circulate treated fuel through the system. This prevents fuel separation and varnish buildup during storage.
**Fogging Oil Application**: Spray fogging oil into the carburetor or intake while the engine is running. This protects the internal components from corrosion. For EFI engines, consult the manual for fogging recommendations.
**Drain Fuel Lines and Carburetor**: Disconnect the fuel line and run the engine until it stalls to clear remaining fuel. This prevents clogging and gumming.
**Change the Gear Oil**: Drain the lower unit and replace with fresh gear oil to prevent water contamination that could freeze and damage the unit.
**Grease and Lubricate**: Apply marine grease to all fittings, propeller shaft, and exposed metal parts to prevent rust and corrosion.
**Remove and Store the Battery**: Disconnect and store the battery in a cool, dry place, ideally on a trickle charger to keep it charged over winter.
**Protect the Engine with a Cover**: Cover the outboard to keep out moisture and dust, and store in a safe, dry place until spring.
These steps will help ensure your outboard engine stays in top shape through the winter and is ready for use next season.
2 STROKE 15HP OUTBOARD MOTOR
Calon Gloria 2-Stroke 15HP Outboard Motor offers reliable power for small to mid-sized boats. Its lightweight design makes it easy to transport, while fuel efficiency, low noise, and smooth performance ensure a comfortable boating experience across diverse watercraft.

Company introduction

Driven by excellence, we've developed a range of outboards, including 2-stroke models (3hp, 5hp, 9.8hp, 15hp, 20hp, 30hp, 40hp), 4-stroke models (6hp, 20hp, 60hp EFI), and a 40hp electric outboard. Our commitment to innovation has led to 25 patents as of July 24, 2023, covering advancements in oil supply, yaw testing, and underwater gear fixation. By maintaining genuine horsepower standards, we've earned strong consumer trust amidst market issues with inflated horsepower claims.

Mounting the outboard motor
The outboard motor should be mounted so that the boat is well balanced. Otherwise, the boat could be hard to steer. For single-engine boats, mount the outboard motor on the centerline (keel line) of the boat.

Mounting height
To run your boat at optimum efficiency, the water resistance (drag) of the boat and out-board motor must be made as little as possible. The mounting height of the outboard motor greatly affects the water resistance. If the mounting height is too high, cavitation tends to occur, thus reducing the propulsion; and if the propeller tips cut the air, the engine speed will rise abnormally and cause the engine to overheat. If the mounting height is too low, the water resistance will increase and thereby reduce engine efficiency. Mount the outboard motor so that the anti-cavitation plate is between the bottom of the boat and a level 25 mm (1 in) below it.
